Rihanna Gives 'First Listen' Of Her New Music To Her Nephew
Rihanna is coming with new music, but not before giving her nephew the first listen.
On Monday, the 31-year-old singer shared a photo of her assistant Jennifer Rosales and her infant son Aaron in the studio with headphones on. "Thank you @jennnrosales and @the_aa for blessing my day a lil mo," Rih captioned the cute picture. Jennifer then shared the photo on her own account, writing, "When tia [which means aunt in Spanish] @badgalriri gives you the first listen 😎. #newmusic."
Jenn's post only confirmed what Rihanna fans have been speculating for months — Rih Rih's actually working on new music. As fans know, it's been three long years since the release of the "Lemon" singer's last studio album, and her fans have been hounding her for new music ever since. Despite their thirst for info, Rihanna has prided herself on keeping details about her album under lock-and-key, which has left fans grasping at straws, jumping to conclusions, literally all of the time.
Take for example when rumors surfaced a few weeks back that her highly-anticipated ninth album was completed. After one of the 31-year-old singer's fan pages reposted an article that claimed Rihanna had finished the project, Rih was forced to set the record straight, commenting: "It ain't done til it's done sis."
One of the most legit rumors about her upcoming project came last month when Page Six reported that Rihanna is planning a music collab with Jay-Z. A source told the gossip site the two were overheard discussing "music and what they can do together," while having a "business lunch."
