Meghan Markle’s Dad Now Wants To Attend The Royal Wedding

Okay so we understand that Meghan Markle’s dad Thomas Markle has been receiving a lot of media attention recently and that can be kinda stressful but seriously this guy has changed his mind more times than we do when choosing an outfit for a night out. (i.e. a LOT)

While just yesterday it was reported that Mr Markle wouldn’t be attending his daughter’s royal wedding this saturday after suffering a heart attack and a very embarrassing paparazzi set-up scandal, it seems he’s changed his tune once again.

Earlier this morning, Thomas spoke to TMZ and revealed that he’s still keen to travel to Windsor to witness his daughter tie the knot.

“Of course I’d walk her down the aisle. This is a historic moment,” he said. “I’d like to be a part of history.”

Thomas also told the publication that he’s back in hospital at the moment having tests done after his health scare and is waiting to see if doctors will let him fly to England in time for the ceremony.

“I hate the idea of missing one of the greatest moments in history and walking my daughter down the aisle,” he continued.

Meghan Markle’s sister Samantha Grant has also appeared on Sunrise this morning telling them that her father Thomas texted her and said that he’s currently being prepped for heart surgery.

As to what may have inspired Thomas to change his mind on his wedding RSVP once again, he revealed that he received a text message from Meghan a few days ago saying that she loves him despite the staged photos of him that emerged and that she is worried about his health.

When news originally broke that Thomas would no longer be attending the wedding, Kensington Palace released a statement saying that the situation was deeply personal and asking for people to be understanding and respectful towards Mr Markle’s decision.

The royal wedding between Meghan and Prince Harry will take place in a matter of days on Saturday 19 May at St. Georde’s Chapel on the grounds of Windsor Castle.
