The Original Version Of "Shoutout To My Ex" Is BRUTAL

Perrie Edwards pretty much 'fessed up to taking a dig at former fiance Zayn Malik in Little Mix's latest single Shout Out To My Ex, but the discovery of the original lyrics should put any remaining doubt to rest.

The final version reads: "Heard he in love with some other chick/ yeah yeah, that hurt me, I'll admit" but an early recording of the song, obtained by News.com.au sounds an awful lot like a Gigi Hadid reference.

"Heard he been f*cking some model chick/ Yeah that sh*t hurt I'll admit/ But f*ck that boy I'm over it," Perrie sings in the original version.

The band told the publication that the main reason for changing their lyrics was that they felt they were too explicit.

"We had to make it clean," Perrie explained. "We didn't want to have the parental advisory sticker on our albums and singles.

"Even though our fans are our age, 20 or over 18, we still have a lot of young fans.

"But it does feel good to swear, doesn't it?"

Zayn, obviously, broke up with Perrie, reportedly via text message, before dating model Gigi Hadid, who he recently moved in with.

Sounds like Little Mix have been taking a leaf out of Taylor Swift's book, no?
