Taylor Swift DID NOT Approve Kanye West's Lyrics About Her

Kanye West released his new album, So Help Me GodSwish, Waves, The Life Of Pablo, at his fashion show at New York Fashion Week on Thursday February 11.

One of the songs, Famous, mentions Taylor Swift in some graphic lyrics.

The 38-year-old rapper says in the song, "I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex, I made that b***h famous."

It was reported by TMZ that Kanye personally gave Taylor a phone call last month to tell her about the song and explain that it is a joke and he didn't want to upset her, but Swift's rep denies the report.

The pair have been on friendly terms since the 2009 MTV VMA awards when he hijacked her speech onstage saying, "Beyonce had the best music video of all time!"

“Kanye did not call for approval, but to ask Taylor to release his single ‘Famous’ on her Twitter account. She declined and cautioned him about releasing a song with such a strong misogynistic message,” Taylor‘s rep told Gossip Cop. “Taylor was never made aware of the actual lyric, ‘I made that b***h famous.’”

Swift's brother Austin made it perfectly clear on his Instagram how the family feel about the lyric, posting a video where he throws his Yeezys into the garbage.

He captioned the video: "Getting a head start on some spring cleaning."
