Kim Kardashian Accused Of Racism Over "Offensive" Outfit
She's come a long way from her Halloween costumes of old - remember Princess Jasmine from Aladdin? A classic - but Kim Kardashian still found herself in hot water over the weekend for her "offensive" outfit.
The reality star declared her 2017 theme to be "Icons. Musical legends!" and started her series of transformations by pairing up with bestie Jonathan Cheban as Sonny and Cher.
But her second makeover sparked controversy as followers piled on Kim for dressing as late singer Aaliyah, who died in a plane crash in 2001.

While there's no doubt that Kimmy nailed the outfit, social media was pissed off that she'd even tried to dress as a black person at all.
"Legend of not Aaliyah is a black woman and you're not," one user wrote. "It's offensive and you shouldn't push the limit, but ok..."
Another wrote: "I don't want Kim Kardashian dressing up as Aaliyah just like I don't want Beyonce dressing up as Sacajawea. It's not deep, y'all shallow."
But Kim refused to respond to the backlash, instead donning her third fancy dress costume of the weekend and channeling Madonna alongside sister Kourtney's Michael Jackson.
Like we said, she's come a long way from those Disney Halloween get-ups.
